Marco received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electronic Engineering with the highest honors from the University of Naples Federico II in 2018 and 2022, respectively. During his time at the university, from 2020 to 2021, he was a crucial member of the Unina Corse E-Team, participating in Formula SAE, a prestigious international student design competition for engineering departments. In this role, he was responsible for firmware and model-based software development for the Electronic Control Unit of the designed electric vehicle. From 2021 to 2022, he engaged in an internship journey with STMicroelectronics in Agrate Brianza (Milan). He used innovative machine-learning techniques to tackle the challenge of software-based demodulation of BLE and WiSUN signals. His findings were presented in a paper at the 2022 IEEE 21st Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference (MELECON). From 2022 to 2023, he was recruited by the Artificial Intelligence Software & Tools team within the ST's System and Research Application division in Milan. As a Software Developer, he worked on STM32 X-CUBE.AI, a cutting-edge AI/ML development tool seamlessly integrated into the STM32 ecosystem. Completing the state examination in January 2023, Marco acquired the Professional License to practice as an Information Engineer accredited by the Order of Engineers in Naples.

In 2023, Marco relocated to Genoa and embarked on an exciting new career as a Technician in the IIT's Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line. At IIT, his primary responsibilities encompass designing electronic boards, developing firmware for wearable and teleoperation devices, and contributing to robotics and artificial intelligence software projects.
